We’re having a great time here in Seattle. The West Coast is definitely different from the East Coast. It’s very green here. Even in the city, there are forests. We went walking among the big trees at Discovery Park. We saw a lot of ferns and a lot of beautiful wildflowers. They would look nice in my garden! We went fishing in Puget Sound, but we didn’t catch anything. Yesterday for lunch we had clam chowder, a kind of seafood soup. It was wonderful. After, we drank cappuccino at the original Starbucks. This evening we’re going to an Indian village. We’ll eat salmon cooked over a fire. Tomorrow, we’re going to ride our bikes to the University of Washington.
