Here are some of the many things you can expect as a student in Advanced Academic English.
» Before You Register Before Classes Begin During the Quarter At the End of the Quarter Before You Register
Self-Placement Test Make sure that ELAP 160 is the best course for you. The suggested level placement is Level 6, based on levels from the University of Washington Online English Language Self-Placement Test (UWOELST).
This is a timed 10-minute test. Don't worry if you cannot complete all of it. Do your best. Answer as many questions as you can. When you are ready, go to the test... » You will receive a score and an immediate level placement. You should then preview the course (Sample ELAP 160 Lessons) to make sure that the suggested level of English is appropriate. You may take courses at a higher level than your test score, but keep in mind that this may make it more difficult for you to complete the course.
