This four-week intensive certificate program is for non-native speakers of English who teach English in their country or teach other subjects in English.

Participants will gain more confidence teaching in English, knowledge of current language acquisition theory as it applies to classroom practices, and improved classroom management skills and lesson design. This program includes observations of UW instructors, guest lectures and workshops, micro-teaching and presentation practice, independent research projects, and visits to local area schools.
